I did some more thinking about this moral argument as I left class yesterday. I know we are moving on but here is a final thought. Morality exists in this world, there is a moral law. This moral law is objective and higher then humans. Must there then be some higher being that is the perfection of this moral law?
If we can argue that God exists because of a morality, then it seems that we can also disprove God with an argument of evil. If we are to go through with the morality argument we must be willing to come up with a justification for the "creation" of evil. Which complicates things.
It does seem logical that humans being moral beings would be one reason to believe in a god because that connection just makes sense. On the other hand, to try to prove the existence of a god simply on the basis of us being moral is a whole other ball game.

Someone might contend that there cannot be a law without a lawgiver, and that God is the only plausible candidate to be the moral lawgiver.
